My Pivot Animations

Post by SilverBlade on Tue Jul 14, 2009 6:16 pm

Has anyone ever heard of Pivot Stickfigure Animator? It's a free, easy to use animation program. Here are the animations I made using it:

The lower you go, the older they get.

Stickman Legacy Collab - The Diamond

Snow Cone
This was a small joint with Zeth.
Credits: Zeth for all the sticks, except the ice cream splatter and the "SB" stick.

Poor Stickman
I feel sorry for this guy, lol. It was fun to make.

Pivot War - LordGarcia
This is one of my favorite animations. The ending was a bit rushed though.
Credits: Blunk for the alphabet, and to FF550 for the gun fire.

Some Lame Fight
It's very short and not really a fight.

Kick Loop
Just some kick loop with my Van Helsing stk.

Default Headbutt
A default headbutting another one.

Failed SL Collab part
It was failed because the collab was never finished. But the animation itself didn't fail.
Credits: Jon for the Dropship, the city background, and to Blunk for the alphabet.

Pivot War - Hungry hungry animator
I really like the ending, hehe.

Kicking test (Credit to Baha)
Just trying out Baha's kicks.
Credits: Baha.

Strengh (Firekid Series)
The fourth episode of Firekid Series. Yes, someday I'll finish the series.
Credits: To whoever made the Madness sprites.

Powerless (Firekid Series)
The third episode of Firekid Series. Firekid starts his mission.
Credits: To whoever made the rifle sprite.

The Beginning (Firekid Series)
The second episode of Firekid series. Firekid meets The Bunny.

Firekid vs Aquakid (Firekid Series)
The first episode of Firekid Series. My first animation with beams, and a 3D effect.

The Escape
This is one of my favorite animations. It's long, it has loads of stks, backgrounds, and a storyline!
Credits: Droidz for the car, the helicopter, the weapons, and the blood.

Soccer Game
It's a killer soccer game...
Credits: Droidz for the weapons, and the blood.

Third animation
My third animation. A stick killing other sticks.

Second animation
It's about a giant stickman. The animation plays very fast.

First animation
My very first animation! I don't know why it plays so fast.

That's actually prety long for a Pivot animation. You want to post the .PIV file? I'd recommend posting the .GIF file so everyone can see your animation.

You can use http://pivotup.com/ for posting .PIVs, and .GIFs.

I was talking to TheTopGun.

Animations in general? Actually, it depends on what program you're using.

They are insane. Way better than mine. Min is like a Dragon Ball Z fight. You must be using a newer pivot program because you are using stuff Ive never seen.

When I put my pivot into the GIF it was lagging a bit. How do I fix that?

Nevermind. I had to make it half size. Keep in mind that it is long and epic. The beginning where I dance was my first time justplaying around with pivot but I kept it in ^_^

It plays a bit fast and there is a seen where the two super saiyans seem to run onto eachother. It is a hug that I guess I never updated to make it be held longer.

Here it is:

Actually, I posted the links to the rest of the animations.

Nice animation, TheTopGun. That's kind of how I started out. Making crazy, random fights with the default stickmen, lol.

TheTopGun wrote:You must be using a newer pivot program because you are using stuff Ive never seen.
Well, on some animations, I used Pivot 3 Beta, but on most of them I used Pivot 2.2.5, which is what most people, such as you, use. The only things that are different with Pivot 3 Beta are: you can use multiple backgrounds by loading images, there's a new default stickman, and you can edit a frame by simply going to it, without having to click on Next Frame. Oh, and the beta version has a lot more bugs, makes animations choppy, and its animations and .STK files aren't compatible with Pivot 2.2.5, which is why a lot of people prefer version 2.2.5.

The only animations that were made with Pivot 3 Beta are the Firekid series, The Escape, and Soccer Game.

By the way, what do you mean by "using stuff I've never seen"?

Here's a new animation I made months ago for my site's Pivot collab. The whole collab can be seen on YouTube, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blf7HlIzGGk
