Wii speak does not turn on HELP!!!

When I turn on the conduit the wii speak light does not come on. When I go into multiplayer mode the wii speak does not turn on and when I enter a match that is wii speak enabled or whatever the thing still does not turn on. I have checked the options and made sure it was set to on and still nothing. when I go into the wii speak channel the thing works flawlessly. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well, when you click multiplayer, go down to wii speak options.
and you do know you have to be there friend to talk right?

It only works with friend codes...

Thanks for your help guys. Just call me an idiot I had forgotten that you need to be friends in order to talk on the wii speak

yea ik its gay, alot of people are forgetting. i mean there is no point in having wii speak really, if you have to use FC's

Um, it's not that "gay". Just go to online, go to your friend roster, join their game, and you'll be able to talk. Yeah, this system they made is so awful, right.

u can only talk on wii speak too friends that r on ur friend roster and that r on da same team and wen u get in the match the light turns blue
