how to get experience and play with friends: have someone join a public game, then all of thier friends click 'join friend' anyone want to try?

i didnt know they'd ban ya, but i saw that on gonintendo like 1 or 2 days ago. the codes dont work for others and it deletes your save file/corrupts it so...
